Happy Mother's Day!

It has been a while since I have posted anything on my blog. A beautiful baby boy named Liam has kept me quite busy over the past eight months! That and moving. Packing and unpacking with a four month old baby in the middle of winter is no easy task! So as I celebrate my first mother's day, I wanted to take a few minutes to share some photos of my journey and wish all the mom's a Happy Mother's Day.

A mother's love is like no other...

My husband gave me a photo album for Mother's Day...

Each year, he plans to add something made by Liam along with a photo or two.
My eyes filled with tears of joy. It is the most special gift I have ever received!

Born four weeks early, Liam Ellis Klik was welcomed into the world in September rather than October.

Both of our families live in upstate New York. By coincidence, my mother had been visiting us the weekend of October 7th to help me get the baby's room set up (we never accomplished that in time), so she was there for her grandson's birth! As soon as she got word that I was having contractions, Brenton's mom (aka Babci) hoped in her car and drove to the hospital in record time, also getting to meet her grandson on the day he was born!

Liam at three weeks.
One of my favorite things about being a mother is the bond that he and I share. It is a love like no other.

My baby and fur baby!

Liam and I on Mother's Day. He has a smile like no other!
