A Colorful Walk Through The Woods

Sunday, Brenton and I headed to the George Washington National Forest in Strasburg, Virginia to hike the Signal Knob Trail. It was a beautiful autumn day. We started our hike later in the afternoon as that is the best time of day for lighting (at least for a photographer anyways). The trail was extremely rocky, making it a slower hike, but that only gave us more opportunities to witness the natural beauty of the forest. Here is a collaboration of our photos...

What a wonderful way to spend a weekend afternoon!

  2. This is what I miss with living in Florida. Beautiful pictures. I'm a slow hiker, too, because it's about the journey--not the destination.
