Adirondack Adventure...

A few weeks ago, my husband and I joined our family at a cabin in the Adirondack mountains.
It is our home away from home...it is our Zen!

A gorgeous view of Blue Mountain Lake from the top of Castle Rock.

Hiking up Castle Rock was no simple task! Round trip, it is a four mile journey.

A really unique pattern, formed by algea, at the end of a small stream.

Twila and Brenton do some "rock climbing".

This was my unique view from inside a bear cave. I wasn't there long!

Brindee and Twila, communicating in their own way.

Getting ready for a canoe ride on Seventh Lake.

This is the life!

A beautiful lakeside cabin. When we win the lottery...

One of my favorite shops in Old Forge: The Starving Artist Gallery.
This artisan shop is filled with beautiful handcrafted items.

Two miles and two hours later...we made it to the top of Castle Rock. This view was worth every step!

Nothing like the natural beauty of the Adirondack mountains to inspire creativity!
